Geraint A. Wiggins was educated at Corpus Christi College, Cambridge, graduating in Mathematics and Computer Science in 1984. He holds PhDs from the University of Edinburgh in Computational Linguistics and in Musical Composition. He is currently Professor of Computational Creativity at Queen Mary, University of London. His research is focused on the computational modelling of musical perception and creativity, and current work is aimed at the construction of a cognitive framework based in information theory, that explicates non-conscious creativity and reasoning.
